At Thomas Edward, our heating engineers are trained first to diagnose your boiler's problem and then to repair it to get the heating back to how it should be.

It might be that your boiler is at the end of its life cycle, in which case, you might need our Boiler Installation/Replacement Service, but rest assured we'll only recommend a replacement as a last resort if it is not viable to repair your current boiler. Our go-to position is always doing what's best for you - the customer - and not what makes us the most money, as other less scrupulous companies might.

Prevention is always better than cure, and by servicing your gas boiler, you can stop most of the problems before they start. Getting your gas boiler serviced once a year is something that will not only keep your boiler running at maximum efficiency but also extend its lifespan. Something often overlooked is that your manufacturers will require an annual service to keep your boiler warranty valid.

An ideal time to get your boiler serviced is during the summer, towards the end of July and September, when the heating isn't likely to be on, and heating engineers are quieter.

This allows boiler problems to be repaired before the colder months arrive and you start using your heating.
